The Doctor Plus 1: Chapter I"Here we are!" Lauren ran to the door of the TARDIS, and opened the portal, before stepping out. "Cybertron! I'm home!" She twirled like an exhilarated child.
The Doctor blinked, "Aren't you human?"
Lauren smiled, turning to him, "Yes, but-well... what I didn't tell you is that I also possess the memories of Optimus Prime... long story short-I have access to one-hundred percent of my brain, and am as close as a human can get to being a cybertronian."
He eyed her closer for a moment more, then grinned again, "Good enough for me-lets go!" The Doctor handed her a necklace, then put one on himself.
"Ah, this looks like a miniature air-pocket with a renewal chip." Lauren looked at him for an explanation.
"Brilliant girl, Miss Courage!" commended the Doctor.
Lauren put it on, and walked further out, "Oh my gosh... Cybertron-it isn't destroyed, it actually looks peaceful."
"Of course not," said the Doctor, stuffing his hands in the pocket
TFP: Shrouded... (Epilogue: Voices of Regret...)
Lauren hadn't stopped sobbing the entire way into the room the hospital had given her, and no matter how much she tried to wash the blood away, "Get OFF!" She rubbed at the red on her face, but it remained, "IT WON'T COME OFF!"
There was a knock on the door, but Lauren didn't reply.
Ryler was dead or dying, Marx was murdered, Woods was killed by Optimus, and now all Lauren could see was all the blood on her armor and exposed face.
The door opened, and Agent Fowler peeked in, "Lauren, are you--?"
"It won't come off, Fowler!" Lauren cried over the sink.
Agent Fowler closed the door, and walked over to her, "Hey-hey-hey, kid, you need to calm down, panicking isn't going to do anything."
"Fowler! Marx is DEAD!" Lauren shouted.
Fowler paused, then gulped, before frowning, "Look, I'm sorry, Lauren… but there's nothing you can do for him now-so you need to calm down long enough to relax." He managed to touch the tiny needle to her bare palm.
"CALM?!" Lauren's one functioning optic flared purp
TFP: Shrouded... (Chapter XXVII: Revelations...)Lauren cracked her knuckles, before rolling her neck, and stretched, before turning to the bridge controls on the level above, and rocketing to them in one fluid motion, from their she looked to the team Optimus was organizing. There was Bumblebee, Bulkhead, Wheeljack, Blaster, Tracks, Mirage, Cliffjumper and even Perceptor… but no Arcee or Starscream. Lauren sighed-she hated the way things had gone with Arcee and she hadn't really expected Starscream to help them.
Marx had returned to London to piece together a squad of decepticon-fighting experts.
Rachet walked over, "I have the groundbridge-get over there… if you're going to be fighting then you need to be listening to the plan."
The girl paused, fear striking at her like a cobra, and for a brief moment she thought she could hear Megatron laughing at her… Lauren looked to her much-older friend, "Rachet… do you think I can do it?"
Rachet looked at her, tilting his head, "Fight decepticons?"
Lauren nodded, sadly, "I'm so scared I'm… g
TFP: Shrouded... (Chapter XXVI: Lesson One...)
The first thing Lauren saw when her Optics had flickered back to life was the sight of Blaster scooping her up, and spinning about with her, shouting unfathomable words of joy, but making Lauren feel very-very-very sick. He stopped as her face had begun turning green, and waited, asking questions. However, Lauren had yet to regain full consciousness, and had not heard a word of Blaster's greeting.
"Blaster! You will make her vomit, and this time you, will clean it up!" Perceptor took the girl from Blaster, and scanned her, as she laid in his hand, and closed her optics, "Lauren, what are you feeling?"
"Tired," she croaked, groggily, "I'm just so tired…"
Perceptor nodded, glancing back as Optimus had begun coming to as well. The scientist carefully handed the girl to Blaster, "Be silent, and take her to her quarters… her body and mind have been severely exhausted. Have Ms. Darby put her to bed."
"You got it, science-guy," Blaster nodded, and walked away.
After helping Lauren to b

And so you finally come, my little human counterpart… The shadow drew closer, then stopped when the girl's optics looked to the place where the shadow loomed. She glared with such intensity, as if know of the shadow's presence… but she then looked away, and proceeded to her companions. The shadow grinned, you, child, know I am here…
Knockout jumped back up, "You-will-pay for that!"
Lauren jumped in between them, "Enough of your pointless argumentation, we have a mission to complete that I guarantee will end with a combat scenario between autobots and decepticons. Save it for the on coming fight."
"Oh-ho-ho, I will," Knockout hissed.
"Like I said, KO, there is no 'we'," Ryler added.
Lauren was well-aware of the growing tension between them as they proceeded to the second level, which had proven to be some sort of a maze. Lauren stepped forward, when Knockout walked over to her, "How do you even know what you are doing, chi
TFP: Shrouded... (Chapter XXIV: Prisoners...)
Lauren stared at the prison orb, observing the altering hues, and pondering the number of ways she could try to free Optimus and Blaster… but each solution was leading to the same action, and action Rachet continued to stand against. Ryler had remained on-base since Optimus had needed him in the academic institution, and checked on Lauren too many times to count. As she was weighing the repercussions of her next action, he came in, and waited for her to acknowledge him. "Do you need something?"
"Just checkin' on ya, sis," Ryler replied. "Watcha doin'?"
"Weighing the outcome of my next action in all respect," she replied.
"Oh, like Rachet getting angry?" Ryler chuckled.
"No… that would not bother me as much as the risk of being trapped within the prison as well," Lauren sighed, she turned to her friend, "I'm entering the prison, be prepared to pull me away if you see that anything is wrong." She place both hands on the sphere, and ordered it to accept her mind. Next she found sight in a

The mech waited a good while before approaching Lauren as she was constructing a number of possible simulations for project Titan. She was entrenched in her work, as he approached her from behind, and he had been forewarned that she had somehow changed, but he wanted to see just what this 'change' was. "Firefly?"
"Stasrcream?" she replied, plainly, without turning from her work.
"Uhm… may I speak to you?" he asked.
Lauren finished typing in the last of the code for the scenario she was on, then turned in the chair where she sat, waiting for him to speak.
Starscream was taken aback… her optics were the color of darkened rubies, and she had no emotion in her expression. He had always seen his Firefly smiling, he was distraught to realize this was no longer the Firefly he knew… and had begun to care about-somewhat, "I-uhm…"
"Speak, Starscream," she ordered, coldly.
Starscream blinked, "Uh… how are you?"
"Status report? It is not due for an hour, and I was under the impression that I was t
